The tether strap, supplied with your airbag, connects the airbag to the stirrup strap.

The attachment strap is connected directly to the piston which will activate the gas cartridge in the event of a fall.

It is already installed and ready to use when you receive your airbag.

You just need to hook the carabiner to the stirrup strap to install it

A carabiner and a ball are located at each end of the tether cord. The ball is positioned on the striker and keeps the mechanical system under tension. When you are on your horse, the carabiner should be hooked to the metal ring of the stirrup strap.

CAUTION, we recommend that you do not attach the carabiner directly to any part of your saddle as it may not be strong enough in the event of a fall. Also make sure that your tether cord cannot wrap around any part of the saddle.
