Merino wool is obtained from the fleece of a unique breed of sheep: Merino, one of the oldest and largest in the world. Originally from Asia, the merino sheep is now also widespread in New Zealand and Australia. Due to the extreme and changing climatic conditions in which merinos live on a daily basis, they have adapted to be able to easily withstand temperatures ranging from -20 to +40°C. And all thanks to their unique wool!

Excellent thermoregulation

Merino wool stores air in its fibers, allowing it to effectively regulate body temperature. In cool weather, the fibers trap air and thus retain body heat. In hot weather, excess heat is released in the form of sweat, which helps prevent overheating.

Efficient moisture wicking

The porous fibers of merino wool pull sweat and moisture away from the skin and release it as vapor. This helps prevent excessive heat buildup, which is especially important on cold days.

Softness and elasticity

The soft and elastic fibers of merino wool do not irritate the skin, which makes it very comfortable to wear in all weathers.

Highly odor resistant

Merino wool is naturally resistant to absorbing environmental odors and perspiration, providing extra protection for the skin, especially in the stable.
